In October 2025, the Rural Municipality of Miscouche initiated a process to comprehensively review and update its Official Plan and Zoning & Subdivision Control Bylaw. These planning documents play a significant role in guiding and managing growth and development in Miscouche, and establish policy and regulations about how, where, and under what circumstances growth and development can occur. This project aims to review these documents and develop revised versions that best reflect the needs of the community.

The initial engagement is now closed. Thank you to everyone who participated in our in-person sessions and completed the survey. You can view the What We Heard Report here.

The project team is now working on the draft planning documents based on what we heard through the initial engagement phase. The draft documents are expected to be ready for community review in early April.
