About the Project

The Region of Queens Municipality is reviewing the current Municipal Planning Strategy (MPS) and Land Use Bylaw (LUB), which were adopted in 2022. Since then, the municipality has experienced an increase in population and development. Having worked with these documents for the last five years, the Municipality has seen which aspects of them work well and where there is room for improvement.

This project is an exciting opportunity to refine the current documents and address priority topics that have emerged as challenges within the community. The goal is to ensure the updated MPS and LUB reflect current community values and remain practical, effective tools into the future.

Community input will play a critical role throughout the planning process. This page will be updated with upcoming engagement opportunities, including both in-person and online events and activities.
